Created in the first years of the twentieth century, TENOR GUITAR became very popular during 1920s and for its distinctive sound and style of its own started to outplace the tenor banjo in popularity. We can hear it from old records of country & western music, swing or jazz.

Today this rather rare, but again more and more used instrument is finding its place in contemporary folk and pop music, as well as Celtic and other ethnic styles. This instrument with its 599mm / 23 & 9/16” scale offers wide range of tuning variants (CGDA, GDAE, DGBE, ADAD, …).

This offered Tenor Guitar has customized material combination - while on the top standard Master Grade Alpine Spruce is kept, back and sides are made from nicely colored straight-grain Santos Rosewood (Pau Ferro). Tonal quality of this guitar, which can be tuned  to the wide range of tuning variants (CGDA, GDAE, DGBE, ADAD, …), is accented by Flamed Maple convex rosette, which makes the sound of this smaller-body instrument really powerful and perfectly ballanced through the all sound spectrum. Curly Honduran Mahogany neck is another custom feature, which togetreh with Flamed Maple binding, multiple b/w rosette, all-body b/w purfling, Ebony bridge and fingerboard & pins with pearl dots, bone nut and saddle, nickel GOTPH 510, tortoise pickguar and Santos headplate with pearl RZW logo makes this Tenor Guitar a bit unique and enables to excel the natural beauty of used tonewoods. 5 990 EUR list price for this custom design with specs listed below.
