TERZ GUITAR is our next specialty guitar started in 2012.
We noticed that there is not only a big demand in the “low tuned guitars“, but also in higher sounds, so we developed our own construction and our own unique body shape for this small guitar tuned a minor third higher than a regular guitar (g, C, F, Bb, D, G).
The scale (533 mm, i.e. 21”) is even shorter than the scale of the Tenor Guitar. While the Tenor Guitar with her four string quint tuning produces the sound that is very bright and crisp, the TERZ GUITAR with her small body produces a very sweet and wooden sound that is very often used as a second or side instrument in many folk music bands and is also used by many country music musicians.
Our new luxury Terz Guitar has the top from Adirondack and back & sides from CITES certified Brazilian Rosewood. What to say more? Brazilian top purfling and A-shaped peghead with Ebony central piece. Ebony is also used for fingerboard with pearl dots position marks, bridge and all pins, also with pearl dots. Sunburt top goes perfectly with brazilian b&s set and so Flamed Maple binding and convex rosette make distinctive contrast. Gold open-gear Gotoh tuners with butterbean knobs and dark tortoise pickguard only underline perfect look of this instrument.
