Our replica of legendary Tony Rice D-28 with Madagascar Rosewood b&s

After quickly sold Tony Rice D-28 with Santos Rosewood b&s, we started with the next three - one again in Santos, the next one in Brazilian RW and this one - the third with Madagascar Rosewood b&s. The base feature of this guitar is that legendary "Tony Rice" enlarged soundhole in Torrefied Apline Spruce top. Also all other details go with the original - zig-zag backstrip, Honduran Mahogany neck and Ebony fingerboard and bridge. Slim b/w rosette, herringbone top purfling, plastic body and fingerboard binding, nicely figured Madagascar RW headplate (on the top and back side of the headstock) without any inlay and Waverly nickel tuners with oval knobs. Material description ends by bone nut and long through saddle, Ebony pins with pearl dots and tortoise pickguard. But the sound of this bluegrass icon you must hear yourself... It's nice to compare these three "Tony Rice" guitars...
