It was not so difficult to decide which guitar to start with in our Artist's Tribute series. Who doesn't know Elvis Presley? His footspeps in music history will be never forgotten and his contribution to modern music is readable till now.
A customized guitar that Vernon Presley bought for his son Elvis in 1969 was one of the most photographed and well known guitars in his performing career due mostly to the use of it on the first TV performance worldwide broadcast via satellite "Aloha from Hawaii" in January 1973. The elder Presley had his son’s name inlaid in script on the guitar’s neck and changed the finish to black to celebrate his son’s recently earned black belt in karate, says the house. Marking that achievement is a sticker for Kenpo karate on the body of the instrument.
Our replica includes CITES certified Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, hand-cut and hand-engraved Elvis name in mother of pearl on the fingerboard, Kenpo karate decal on the top and all other details as the original one. Elvis portrait hand-cut and hand-engraved in mother of pearl on the peghead is simply our tribute to this great legend...
